Little Tiger is Back!

Hiya! Painting by hand is one of my favourite things to do. This Saturday, I painted a large sketchbook page with a yellow tiger character. This Little Tiger was created about 8 or 9 years ago during a 365-day drawing challenge. Drawing Little Tiger and his friends in their jungle world was always such a joy. One of my favourite places in the world are jungles with all the sounds and wildlife and giant flowers.

The tiger is painted with gouache and coloured pencils, then outlined with ink. It was simply fun to paint by hand when so much of my day job involves painting digitally — a lovely contrast.
